Competitive Gymnastics Programme (WAG | MAG | TUM)

Franklin Gymsports is proud to offer a comprehensive Competitive Programme across Women’s Artistic Gymnastics (WAG), Men’s Artistic Gymnastics (MAG), and Tumbling (TUM). These pathways are designed for gymnasts who demonstrate talent, commitment, and a passion for advancing their skills in a structured and supportive environment.

WAG (Women’s Artistic Gymnastics)
Our WAG programme focuses on developing strength, flexibility, precision, and artistry across the four apparatus: Vault, Uneven Bars, Beam, and Floor. Gymnasts work through Gymnastics New Zealand’s STEPs programme, guided by qualified coaches who support their technical development and personal growth in a fun yet disciplined setting.

MAG (Men’s Artistic Gymnastics)
MAG offers a dynamic training environment for boys, working across six apparatus: Floor, Pommel Horse, Rings, Vault, Parallel Bars, and Horizontal Bar. Our programme fosters physical development, coordination, and discipline while progressing gymnasts through GNZ’s Level system in a team-focused and encouraging atmosphere.

TUM (Tumbling)
Our Competitive Tumbling programme is designed for athletes who thrive on speed, power, and precision. Tumbling focuses on dynamic acrobatic skills performed on an air track—ranging from basic rolls and cartwheels through to advanced skills such as round-off back handsprings, somersaults, and twisting elements.

At Franklin Gymsports, our tumblers train in a supportive and challenging environment that encourages excellence, resilience, and progression. Whether athletes are new to the competitive pathway or aiming for national-level performance, our programme provides structured training, personalised coaching, and opportunities to compete in local and regional events.
